This was announced on March 29 by the representative of the central headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbiya military command, Ebrahim Zolfagari.

"Taking into account the atrocities and terrorist acts of the American and Zionist enemies, as well as attacks on Iranians' residential buildings in various cities, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond by attacking the residences of American and Zionist commanders and political figures in the region and in the occupied territories," the IRNA news agency quoted him as saying in its Telegram channel.
