Seven relatives of Fatima Ftouni, a correspondent for Al Mayadeen TV channel, were killed during the conflict in the Middle East. On March 29, the family said goodbye to Fatima and her brother, journalist Mohammed Ftouni, who was traveling with her in a car that was hit by an Israeli strike.

"I asked Fatima and Mohammed, 'Give me a day, I need to see you.' I haven't seen them for 28 days," said Abbas Ftouni, the father of the victims Fatima and Mohammed Ftouni.

According to him, they promised to come as soon as possible, but they failed to do so.

Earlier in the day, hundreds of people attended the funeral of journalists killed in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon.

Journalists Fatima and Mohammed Ftouni, as well as Al-Manar reporter Ali Hassan Shahaib, were killed in an Israeli military strike on March 28. The car used by the media staff turned out to be almost completely destroyed.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the murder and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and all representatives of the journalistic and media community. Roni Alpha, director of the Middle East information bureau of Al Mayadeen, also called the deceased journalist Fatima Ftouni, who collaborated with Izvestia, a heroine.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
