The United States is not going to transfer weapons for Ukraine to the Middle East. This was announced on March 29 by the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.

"It was stated at the level of [US Secretary of State Marco] Rubio that nothing was diverted from this program to other geographical corners or from funds or equipment intended for Ukraine," he told the Ukrinform news agency.

According to him, the Ukrainian side has received assurances about the further completion of the PURL program, including through contributions from another country, the name of which he has not yet disclosed.

Rubio announced on March 27 that the United States could redirect weapons to the territory of the Middle East, which were originally supposed to be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The US Secretary of State added that the weapons in question were acquired by NATO, and now Washington is faced with the question of its own need for the sold.

The Politico newspaper learned on the same day that the Ukrainian militants were running out of fuel due to the escalation in the Persian Gulf zone. One of the unnamed interlocutors of the publication, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that he and his colleagues do not have enough gasoline even to bring the equipment to work.
