Three people have been detained after an incident with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a Yerevan church. This was announced on March 29 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

"After today's incident, police officers detained three people on suspicion of hooliganism and interference in the legitimate official and political activities of an official. They are <...> they have been delivered to the Investigative Committee," Armenian Interior Ministry spokesman Narek Sargsyan told RIA Novosti.

The conflict in question occurred on the same day during the divine service. One of the parishioners did not like the look of the Armenian Prime Minister's security guard, which he notified the person accompanying Pashinyan. At that moment, another believer attempted to hit another bodyguard. The prime minister, in turn, asked his staff to calm down and not push anyone away.

Pashinyan himself stated that he had not given special orders to detain the instigators of the conflict. He stressed that the police do not need additional instructions to do their job.
