Russians can be held administratively liable or even imprisoned for up to eight years for growing the so—called sage of fortune tellers, Salvia divinorum. This was announced on Sunday, March 29, by Olesya Slezkina, a lawyer at the Moscow City Bar Association, a member of the Sinelshchikov and Partners Bar Association.

"The list explicitly mentions predictor sage (Salvia divinorum) — but this is not the same as ordinary medicinal or ornamental sage, which is grown in suburban areas," she shared in a conversation with TASS.
