Blogger Valeria Chekalina, known under the pseudonym Lercek, complained on March 29 about a visit to a state clinic during the restrictions imposed by the investigation. She accused law enforcement officers of failing to detect her cancer at an early stage. All the details are in the Izvestia article.

Problems of Nurses during a visit to the clinic

Valeria Chekalina said that she was faced with a lack of necessary equipment when visiting a paramedic in Istra. According to the blogger, there were no funds in the office to conduct a full-fledged health diagnosis. After the visit to the clinic, Lercek continued to take only painkillers.

"All we found in Istra is a paramedic's office. But when I got there, there was just a table on the ground floor of this five-story building and a paramedic was sitting behind it. They could measure the maximum temperature there. I didn't find any equipment that could help me there," she said.

The investigator allowed her to apply exclusively to State institutions near the place of detention. Chekalina is convinced that a timely visit to the relevant doctors would help to identify the disease at an earlier stage. Against the background of developing cancer, she had difficulty moving and caring for her child. The blogger stressed that she feels disabled, but intends to continue fighting the disease.

How is Lercek's treatment going?

The blogger's lover Luis Squicciarini shared the details of the treatment process. He said that Chekalina has already undergone the first stage of chemotherapy and immune therapy, and the second stage will begin soon. In total, the treatment plan includes nine procedures.

According to Squicciarini, at the moment Valeria Chekalina is completely blind in her right eye. At the same time, he added that after radiation therapy, she has a slight decrease in pain in her leg. He also thanked the audience for the words of support addressed to the blogger.

"Lera underwent her first chemistry and immune therapy. We're starting the second one soon. There will be nine of them in total. The right eye is not fully visible yet," he wrote on social media.

What does the ex-husband say about Lerchek's money?

The blogger's ex-husband, Artyom Chekalin, noted that Lercek needs money to pay for expensive medical treatment and the maintenance of children. He wished his ex-wife success and recovery of health. Chekalin himself admitted that he also has certain health problems that he plans to deal with later.

Commenting on the information about the registration of a new cosmetics brand by the blogger's mother Elvira Feopentova, Chekalin noted that he had no information about the sources of financing for this project. He suggested that the business might have outside partners that he was unaware of.

"May God grant her success and great victories. She needs money now, both for treatment and for her family, so God forbid that everything works out for her," said Artem Chekalin.
