A man died as a result of a fire in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. This was announced on March 29 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

It is specified that the fire started on the morning of March 29 on Lermontov Street.

"The combat crews of the second fire and rescue unit were on site within a few minutes, but by that time the room was heavily smoky," the ministry said in a message on the MAX messenger.

A neighbor pulled a man out of a burning house, but he died before the arrival of firefighters after inhaling carbon monoxide. The cause of the fire is determined.
