In the first league of the Russian football Championship, the fight for entry into the RPL is in full swing. The teams that take the first two places go directly there, those who finish third and fourth will play transitional matches with the Premier League clubs. So far, the Voronezh Fakel is confidently in the lead. With a high probability, Rodina and Ural will compete for the second direct ticket to the RPL. In the next round, on the 26th, they will play a head-to-head match.

One of the leaders of Rodina this season is defender Stanislav Bessmertny, who was leased from Dynamo Moscow. In an interview with Izvestia, the 22-year-old football player assessed the chances of reaching the RPL, Rodina's readiness for the Premier League, spoke about the current Dynamo head coach Rolan Gusev and wished his team to win the Russian Cup.

— You and Rodina got to the second place. How ready do you feel to stay in the direct entry zone to the RPL?

— We try not to look at the table. We just go from game to game. Every match is like a final for us. We want to win all the time. We have a great team: both the starting line-up and the substitutes. Everyone is doing the same thing in common. Everyone wants to play and win. We are one. If we win all the games, then we will go 100% directly to the RPL.

— What does it take to do this?

— Continue to do the same things that you did before. First of all, train the same way. We have very good intensive training sessions. We laid the main foundation at the training camp, so we are building on it and moving on.

— During the winter break, it seemed that Ural, along with Fakel, gradually took off. Were you surprised how Yekaterinburg lost its points in March and allowed you to catch up with it?

— In principle, we understood that they would not pass without losses. You just have to take your victories and everything will be fine. That's what we're doing, we're winning. We lost points in only one match: a draw in Khabarovsk with SKA (2:2), we did not keep the victory in the end. But it's okay, they took one point away from there, which is also a good result. We just play, score points, and win. We are also looking at Ural to see what results it has, but we understand that everything depends only on us.

— Is there a tough fight for entry into the RPL in the First League this season?

— The First League is always tough. A lot of wrestling, a lot of martial arts. But we try to play football and devote a lot of time to martial arts.

— Have you decided on your future after the season? Do you have any verbal agreements with Rodina that you will stay in the team if you join the RPL?

— No, we haven't talked about anything in this regard yet. We live for today. We don't look far. We'll see what happens in the summer.

— How ready is the current Rodina squad for the RPL? What kind of reinforcement will be required if you get there?

— We have all the players under the RPL. I watch some Premier League matches: there are players in certain positions who are compared to ours... It should be the other way around. Because some of the players who play in Rodina and RPL are just heaven and earth. For me.

— How did it happen that these players took your places in the RPL?

— And so it turned out. There are different situations in life. Someone was unlucky, that's all. Our team will probably strengthen in the summer.

— But not dramatically?

— You should ask Alexey Nikolaevich (Zinin, sports director of Rodina. — Izvestia). We're just playing. And we'll see what happens in the summer.

— How do you feel about the talk that the RPL does not need another Moscow team with low attendance and very little history?

— Rodina is developing very well. Even if you compare it with my first matches for the club at the beginning of the season, then compared to that time, the team now has a lot of fans. Little boys and girls come to cheer for us. Then they will grow up, and their support will be transferred from generation to generation. That's how they recruit fans. More and more people are going to the "Homeland". They choose to cheer for her, seeing what the team's results are. So I think she'll be fine.

— Do you like the current Dynamo Moscow?

— Yes, just a top. It is clear that the coaching staff is working. And the defense has improved specifically, and I really like the attack. Crazy Tyuka (Konstantin Tyukavin. — Izvestia), everything is in prime time. May God grant them to continue to win. I am watching them with great interest. I hope they win the Cup. I really hope so.

— Many people were surprised by how Rolan Gusev successfully started his career as Dynamo's head coach. You played in the team when he assisted Marcel Lichke. Did you feel then that he had the prospect of leading the team?

— It was felt that he was close to the team. He jokes all the time, the tension never came from him. Although at the same time, Roland Alexandrovich can stuff it. But at the same time, to suggest and joke. Everything about him fits together like a good coach. Everything is in it. When it's time to make a joke, he'll make a joke. When you need to stuff it, he'll stuff it specifically.

— Is there any joke from Gusev that you particularly remember?

— He stayed after practice to serve for the strikers. When he served, he said that his serves were "snickers" (smiles). Like, his food is delicious, like a chocolate bar.

— In the sense that the serves are accurate and convenient for the attackers?

— Yes, yes, yes. I really liked the way he said it (smiles). There were many such moments.

— Was there a conversation with Dynamo regarding your future after the end of the current lease?

— There was nothing. We need to play for the Motherland here and prove our worth. And only after that it will be possible to say something.
