The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during a meeting of G7 ministers, argued about the role of the United States in resolving the Ukrainian crisis. This was reported on March 27 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

According to the interlocutors of the publication, Callas asked Rubio when the United States would change its position on Russia, to which a harsh response followed.

"We are doing everything possible to put an end to the conflict. If you think you can do it better, please. We will step aside," the US Secretary of State replied.

As the article emphasized, after this "heated exchange of views," several European ministers who witnessed the altercation intervened, saying they still wanted Washington's assistance in the settlement process in Ukraine.
