The man who stabbed his ex-girlfriend Maria in Moscow and then died in an accident chased her after the breakup and found a new address for the victim. This was announced on March 27 by a source of Izvestia.
According to him, Yuri Monekin and Maria dated for two years and broke up two months ago. According to the girl, she did not feel any aggression from Yuri. However, before the attack, he shouted at her for a long time about the breakup.
It is noted that an accomplice whom she saw in her entrance a couple of days before the incident helped Monekin find Maria's address. On the girl's birthday, Yuri ambushed her in the vestibule, pushed her into the apartment and began threatening to kill her.
When Maria sprayed pepper spray, the man flew into a rage, tore off her clothes and stabbed her. After that, Monekin expressed to the girl a desire to commit suicide, and later died in an accident.
It is known that Yuri has a child from his first marriage, and his brothers live in Austria and Mytishchi. Maria is recovering in the hospital and can already walk.
On March 25, a man stabbed his ex-girlfriend in the north of Moscow. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder"). Later, a source told Izvestia that the attacker died in an accident after the crime.
