The conflict in Ukraine will continue until the Kiev authorities make "certain decisions" and agree to make concessions. This was announced on March 27 by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"We have told the Ukrainian side what Russia insists on. We are not advocating for this. We explained this to them," he said at a briefing.
