The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched a new series of attacks on Hezbollah targets in Beirut, Lebanon. This was announced on March 27 by the army's press service.

"The IDF has launched a series of attacks on Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure in Beirut," the Telegram channel said.

The Washington Examiner magazine reported on the same day that a Hezbollah FPV drone had hit an Israeli Merkava Mk3 tank. The extent of damage to the tank was not specified.

The Reuters news agency reported yesterday that the Iranian government has indicated that Lebanon should be included in any ceasefire agreement with the United States and Israel. Regional sources added that the Lebanese movement had received guarantees from Iran that it would seek an agreement that would end Israel's attacks on Hezbollah.

On March 18, IDF aircraft destroyed a 12-storey apartment building in the Bashura district of Beirut. It was noted that the destruction was the result of the third strike on Beirut in a period of less than six hours.
