Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Robert Brovdi (included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists), accused of a terrorist attack against Russian journalists, was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment. This was announced on March 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Second Western District Military Court.
The state prosecutor insisted on such punishment in the arguments of the parties. Brovdi's lawyer asked the court to acquit her client, as she considers his involvement in the crime to be unproven.
