United Russia announced a plan to modernize railway stations in the regions.
The United Russia Party and Russian Railways (RZD) plan to modernize railway stations in Russian regions according to the popular program of the political force, the party's press service reported on March 27.
This year, the modernization will take place at the stations of Samara, Blagoveshchensk and Noyabrsk. In total, 16 railway station buildings have already been brought to a modern appearance within five years. Work has been completed at Ladoga Railway Station in St. Petersburg, Goryachy Klyuch in the Krasnodar Territory and Birobidzhan in the Jewish Autonomous Region.
