Ten cities will become the sites of the marathon of Knowledge.First

The regional competition for the right to host the Znanie spring marathon has ended.The first, which will be held on April 28-30. The program will cover 10 cities of our country. The event will take place on the eve of the celebration of the Day of the Indigenous Peoples of the Russian Federation, a holiday that is celebrated in Russia for the first time this year. The marathon is organized by the Znanie Society.

Marathon Knowledge.The first gives young people from all over the country the opportunity to hear speeches by outstanding lecturers, ask questions, learn about the prospects for the development of various fields and get an impulse to realize their talents for the benefit of the Motherland. The marathon starts on April 28, with Moscow as the central venue, and on the same day the program will unfold in Tver, Makhachkala, Nizhny Novgorod, Novy Urengoy, Barnaul, Yakutsk, Naryan-Mar and the Donetsk People's Republic. Astrakhan will join the marathon on April 30.

"In the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the marathon is Knowledge.The first ones will unite young people at venues in ten cities of our country. More than 17,000 participants will meet with statesmen, scientists, Heroes of Russia, representatives of the cultural sphere, and athletes to talk about our common heritage and the traditions of the peoples of Russia in an open dialogue format. I am sure that the marathon will allow everyone to feel their involvement and make sure that the strength of our country lies in unity," said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Znanie Society.

Representatives of different peoples of Russia will meet with the guys. More than 100 distinguished lecturers will talk about the contribution of peoples to the development of the country and the prospects for cooperation. The program will emphasize the importance of respect for common history and traditional values, reflect the continuity of generations, and demonstrate the richness of multinational culture.

In three days, the marathon will bring together more than 17,000 participants from Russia and neighboring countries. Schoolchildren, students, and young professionals from different peoples of Russia, including indigenous minorities, will gather at venues in the country's regions. More than 10,000 young people will visit the central venue in Moscow.

According to a survey by the Znanie Society Research Center, the theme of the unity of the peoples of Russia finds a wide response in society. Thus, 82% of Russians consider the inhabitants of the country to be a united people with a common history and future, and 84% are confident that in difficult moments Russians unite and help each other. Russians' expectations from the Year of Unity are also largely related to educational and public initiatives: first of all, people expect an increase in young people's interest in the country's history, as well as confidence-building, the emergence of socially significant projects and new reasons to be proud of Russia. The Znanie marathon program will be aimed at these tasks, among other things.The first, which will bring together participants from different regions of the country and will become a platform for an open dialogue about the future of Russia.

Online broadcasts of speeches and educational content prepared during the three days of the program will traditionally be available on the website of the Znanie Society and in the official group of the educational organization on VKontakte.
