The Russian Embassy will demand from the Czech Foreign Ministry to strengthen security measures at Russian facilities

The Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic will send a note to the country's Foreign Ministry, where it will raise the issue of strengthening security measures at Russian real estate and against diplomats due to the attack on the Russian House in Prague. This was announced on March 27 by the press service of the diplomatic mission.

"The Embassy will send a corresponding note to the Czech Foreign Ministry, where it will again raise the issue of strengthening security measures by the Czech authorities in relation to Russian real estate and employees of Russian institutions abroad. — Ed.) in the Czech Republic," the statement on the Russian Embassy's Facebook page says (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

Earlier that day, Igor Girenko, head of the Russian House in Prague, reported an attack on a cultural center that took place on the evening of March 26. Molotov cocktails were thrown at the building. According to Girenko, the date of the attack was not chosen by chance, as an event was scheduled for Friday, March 27, in honor of the end of the Days of Russian Culture. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in an interview with Izvestia, called the attack a barbaric act.
