- Vechernaya Moskva employees received honorary awards of the Golden Pen of Russia Award
The 30th Golden Pen of Russia Award ceremony took place at the Central House of the Russian Army. The main prize of the Union of Journalists of Russia has been awarded since 1996. The ceremony brought together the best of the best — all those who reflect modernity in their materials.
"One of our main tasks is to support young colleagues who choose the path of military enlistment officers. Now, in the Memorial Complex of the Holy Martyrs Anatoly and Protoleon, we have opened a "Gallery of Memory" of those who died in the line of duty," said Vladimir Solovyov, Chairman of the SSR.
First of all, Vladimir Solovyov, Chairman of the Russian Academy of Sciences, presented seven top awards, the Golden Feather. Among the laureates is Sergey Leskov, a columnist for Vechernyaya Moskva. The award in the Media Manager of the Year nomination was awarded to Georgy Rudnitsky, General Director of the Editorial Office of the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva.
"I am very pleased that the Union of Journalists celebrates the work of not only federal but also regional publications. For me, this is not a personal award — I believe it belongs to our entire team," said Georgy Rudnitsky.
A total of 74 journalists received awards. Among the nominations are "Legend of Russian Journalism", "For Bravery in the Line of Duty" and others.
"This year, not only the author is among the laureates, but also the CEO of our editorial office — this is the highest assessment of his work, and thanks to his work, the newspaper feels very confident in the modern media field," said Alexander Sharnaud, editor—in-chief of Evening Moscow.
