Russia invites partners in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and all friendly states to launch joint projects on unmanned cargo transportation on key international transport corridors. This was stated by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

According to him, Russia already has a complete system of autonomous technologies, which Moscow's partners can join.

"We invite our partners in the union, all friendly states to its (the Russian system. — Ed.) to launch joint projects on the development of unmanned cargo transportation on key international transport corridors," Mishustin said at the Digital Qazaqstan 2026 digital project exhibition, quoted by RIA Novosti.

As the Russian Prime Minister noted, the initiative is needed for the agricultural sector to increase its efficiency, as well as for the delivery of goods to remote and hard-to-reach areas. Mishustin assured that Russia is ready to participate in the system of regulation of autonomous technologies in Eurasia.

On February 26, Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin told Izvestia that Russia sees interest in Belarus and Kazakhstan in cross-border unmanned cargo transportation. According to him, they may begin in the near future. It is also planned to implement unmanned trucks that run from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Nikitin added that trucks can be launched along the M-12 highway.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
