The United States has expressed a desire to appropriate the Russian Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines. This was announced on March 26 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with France Television.
"The United States <...> says that they want to take the Nord Streams for themselves," said the diplomat, quoted by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
