The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) is ready to join the fighting in the Middle East. This was announced on March 26 by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

"At the slightest development of events during the conflict that requires a military response, we will immediately intervene...> as we did in previous stages," the newspaper L'Orient-Le Jour quoted him as saying.

On March 22, the WSJ newspaper reported on the concerns of the United States and Israel over the possible involvement of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement in the conflict with Iran. It is noted that Yemen's entry into the conflict will dramatically raise the stakes, creating a direct threat to the security of the Suez Canal and drawing Saudi Arabia and Egypt into the confrontation.
