Air defense systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the sky over the territory of the Leningrad region. This was announced on Thursday evening, March 26, by Governor Alexander Drozdenko.

"The air defense forces shot down two UAVs over the Leningrad region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

There is no information about possible damage or casualties at the moment.

The day before, Drozdenko said that 56 Ukrainian drones had been neutralized over the region.
