On January 14, Izvestia reported on Yefremov's return to work in the theater after serving more than four years in a penal colony. The actor himself turned to the director of "Workshop 12" Mikhalkov with a request to take him to the play, in which he will play the main role. According to the production's artist, Yuri Cooper, Yefremov is capable of playing any role, and rehearsals with the troupe were conducted even by phone.
