- Stars of four continents will take to the stage of the Bolshoi Theater as part of the gala concert of the VIII BraVo Awards
The gala concert of the VIII International Professional Music Award BraVo, which will take place on April 14 on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater, will once again, despite all the difficulties, confirm the status of a large-scale international event. The ceremony will feature stars and outstanding classical music performers, opera and ballet dancers from Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other partner countries.
Over the years, the ceremony has crossed the borders of the Eurasian continent, uniting dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East. The award, held with the support of Radio Monte Carlo, is not just an award presentation, but a unique event where in one evening you can hear famous classical performers from all over the world and touch the authentic national creativity of artists from partner countries. Precious statuettes in the form of a golden treble clef will be awarded to the winners in the "Classical Performer from the Partner Country" nomination:
- China will be represented by pianist Ming Rui, whose virtuoso skills have gained worldwide recognition and brought the musician many victories in national and international competitions.
- Tenor Marwan Fagi from Saudi Arabia, an artist with a unique voice and charisma who has created a new genre, the Saudi Philharmonic song, will take to the stage of the Bolshoi Theater.
- South African violinist Naomi Tagg will surprise the audience by playing the electric violin, combining explosive energy with the grace of academic music.
- The Bolshoi Theater audience will be captivated by the work of oboist Mohamed Saleh from Egypt. His instrument is able to convey the full depth, passion and millennial cultural history of his country.
- Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will be represented by the wonderful voices of Central Asia: tenor Alikhan Beisekov, winner of international competitions, and Elnura Muktarbek, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The honorary guests of the gala concert will be artists whose art goes far beyond the nominations. The Brazilian ballet couple Amanda Gomez and Wagner Carvalho are the real "golden fund" of world ballet, the stars of South America who conquered Russia and remained to serve art in our country. Graduates of the legendary Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, today they decorate the stage of the Musa Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater. Their appearance on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia promises to be one of the most spectacular moments of the evening.
Among the guests of honor is Daria Gorozhanko, the owner of the expressive mezzo–soprano, who will present the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus. Her deep, velvety voice and subtle dramatic skills have already won the hearts of the public in Russia, Europe and the CIS countries. The singer's repertoire includes the most complex roles from operas by Verdi, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov.
The special guest of the evening will be the Chief conductor of the UAE Philharmonic Orchestra, Nicholas Mann, known for his unique ability to combine Western academic traditions with Eastern aesthetics.
