Since March 20, the fire season has begun in the southern regions. In the central regions, the period will be open on March 31, in the north — from April 10. This is reported by the ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the regional government.

In May, the equipment necessary for extinguishing fires will arrive in Transbaikalia. It was purchased as part of the national project "Environmental well-being".

In the Tyumen region, the fire season starts on April 6. The date was set due to the snowfall.
