This spring, the SUN TV channel and the online cinemas START and Okko will show a good family premiere - the series "Olive, Igor and Rex". On the eve of the release of the project, the creators present the first materials of a sincere and ironic story about adventures, a happy childhood and true friendship. This project will unite generations: young viewers will see themselves as heroes, and their dads and moms will recognize with a smile their own carefree childhood with a collection of stamps, popsicles and kvass from a barrel.

The action takes place in the 80s. Seven-year-old Olya (Olivia Mintz), whom everyone calls Olive, grew up in the village. By her side is always her faithful friend, the shepherd Rex. Olive is sure that she understands animals and easily finds a common language with them, be it a dog or a goat. In addition, Olive is a very erudite girl with a precocious adult view of the world, because she accidentally read her grandmother's entire library. Her best friend, Igor (Artur Iskandaryan), is a moderately quick—witted, but very economical and wholeheartedly in love with Olive, a boy who is ready to support any of her adventures.

But the familiar world collapses when the parents (Elizaveta Arzamasova and Alexey Zolotovitsky) take Olive to the city. There, she is looked after by her neighbor Matilda (Nina Dvorzhetskaya), who is trying to instill in Olive a love of art and discipline, but she is gradually drawn into her wonderful world.

In the city, Olive will have to find friends again and get used to completely different ways. Will the girl cope with new challenges and will she be able to remain herself?

"Everything came together in these shootings, everything turned out for joy: a beloved director, a wonderful script, and a family theme, the intonation of the presentation is warm and nostalgic. I worked on this project with great desire and love. One day, my mom came to visit me on one of the filming shifts, and after seeing the scene, she said enthusiastically, "This is about me! About my childhood"! But from the inside, it seemed to us that it was about me and our dear Olive. In other words, it's about a real, serene, happy childhood, about a very normal (sounds like a compliment in modern times) world, about the ability to love and find common ground not only with people, but also with our smaller brothers, with animals, to live in peace and harmony," Arzamasova said.

Filming, which took place in Moscow and the Moscow region, has been successfully completed. The director of the project is Alexander Zhigalkin, known for the TV series "Daddy's Daughters", "Old School" and "Parents of parents". Starring: Elizaveta Arzamasova, Alexey Zolotovitsky, Nina Dvorzhetskaya, Olivia Mintz, Artur Iskandaryan.

"Filming was fun and interesting, but sometimes there were difficult moments: for example, you had to drag a goat down a mountain, drive a pig into a barn, stuff a rabbit into a briefcase, hold a frog by the paw. Fortunately, my friend Igor did the latter for me. During the filming, the guys and I learned a lot of interesting things about the 80s, which were completely different from our time. The children didn't have gadgets, and they invented games, activities, and adventures for themselves, spent a lot of time outside, enjoyed grandma's jam and ice cream for 25 kopecks, listened to records, and gathered with neighbors for birthdays. It's an amazing time!" said Olivia Mintz, who plays the role of Olive.

The creators are sure that the series "Oliva, Igor and Rex" is both a funny and kind journey into a fairy tale, where parents will remember themselves as children, and young viewers will see that moms and dads were also once inventors and dreamers.

The premiere is already this spring on the TV channel "THE SUN" and online cinemas START and Okko.
