The Government of the Russian Federation has allowed military enlistment offices to make decisions on postponement or exemption from military service without the appearance of a conscript if there is sufficient information. This was confirmed on March 24 by a document published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"If there is sufficient information in the military registration register necessary for the draft commission to make a reasoned decision regarding a conscript to be released from military duty (conscription) or to grant a deferral from conscription, the relevant decision may be taken without the conscript's personal appearance," the relevant resolution says. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
