A competition for cultural workers will be held in the capital
Applications for the Moscow Masters competition are open in the capital for specialists in the cultural and educational sphere. You can submit your documents by April 12. The start of the application campaign was timed to coincide with the Day of the Cultural Worker, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The competition will be held in three stages. The participants will have to solve practical problems, present their projects and creative performances," Natalia Sergunina said.
The first round will be a qualifying round: applicants will be offered events and programs dedicated to public holidays. At the second stage, the participants will prepare a video about themselves and present to the jury their own projects implemented in 2025 or 2026 with socially significant results. Based on the results, a list of finalists will be formed.
The final stage will be held at the Moskvich Cultural Center. The participants will present creative performances there, and the award ceremony will be held in the summer.
Last year, Alexander Shelyakin, an employee of the N. A. Ostrovsky State Museum and Cultural Center "Integration", took the first place. He presented the Perovo Family Traditions competition, in which intellectual quizzes about the capital, as well as creative and sports competitions, were organized for parents and children from the district of the same name.
The winner was Anna Gribinchuk, an employee of the Mossovet District Community Center. She presented the Indian Summer Festival in the village of Akulovo with master classes and lectures on folk crafts, a performance and performances by instrumental ensembles.
The Moscow Masters Competition has been held since 1998 with the support of the Moscow Government, the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions and the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. It covers various fields — industry, tourism, construction, housing and communal services, transport, culture and others.
