Patrushev reported on the drift of the Arctic Metagaz gas carrier to the southeast of Italy

The attacked gas carrier Arctic Metagaz is currently drifting southeast of the coast of Italy, there are risks that due to uncontrolled driving it may end up in the territorial sea of the coastal states of the Mediterranean. This was announced on March 25 by Nikolai Patrushev, Assistant to the President of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Maritime Board.

"The tanker is currently drifting south-east of the coast of Italy in a damaged condition. Taking into account the weather conditions, there are risks of uncontrolled entry into the territorial sea of Libya, Italy, Malta or other coastal states," he said at a board meeting.
