The 2014 Chery Tiggo crossover covered 425,000 km. On March 25, Nadezhda Orlova, the owner and director of the Fit Service Vitebsk car service, told about this, and listed the problems its owner from St. Petersburg faced with the car.

The expert called the steering rack the main problem of this car, which the owner changes about once every year and a half (every 60 thousand km). This node has become such a "consumable" as stabilizer bars. The shock absorbers need to be replaced after about 30 thousand km. The gearbox required repair for a mileage of about 300 thousand km. At the same time, the engine still does not require major repairs: the owner changes the oil every 10,000 km and strictly adheres to the maintenance regulations. The body was covered with a trace of corrosion, the paintwork was significantly damaged, but there is no through rust yet.

During one of the last calls to the service, the car owner paid 16 thousand rubles for the repair of a non-working stove fan and washer pump, the problem was the electrics. Experts also recommended to diagnose the steering mechanism, check the bearing of the left rear hub and replace the brake fluid. They also advised to reduce the oil change interval to 7-8 thousand km and choose more resource-efficient and high-quality parts for repairs instead of inexpensive analogues.

"It is impossible to say that Chinese cars are "disposable". This particular Tiggo refutes the folk myth with its run. But the long life of a car is achieved through regular professional diagnostics, frequent repairs and expenses," the Rossiyskaya Gazeta quotes Orlova as saying.

Earlier, on March 20, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia proposed to introduce mandatory labeling of auto parts, the corresponding draft resolution is posted on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts. The project provides for the phased introduction of mandatory labeling of certain types of vehicle components, devices with an internal combustion engine and self-propelled vehicles from September 1 of this year.
