The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the purpose of cooperation between the UK and Ukraine.

Britain needs increased cooperation with Ukraine to destabilize the region. This was announced on March 25 at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

As an example of such interaction, the diplomat cited the Ukrainian-British Octopus project to create interceptor drones as part of a partnership between the two states. In addition, the British government promised to allocate 500 million pounds to Ukraine to create an advanced center in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) as part of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

"In fact, all this is part of Britain's strategy to destabilize our region and the European continent as a whole by expanding military cooperation with the terrorist Kiev regime," Zakharova said.

She added that London also pursues the goal of learning from the experience of modern warfare and prevents the conflict from being resolved diplomatically.

Alexander Stepanov, an expert at the RANEPA Institute of Law and National Security, commenting on the UK's opening of military Centers of advanced AI technologies in Ukraine for the analysis and application of combat experience, said on March 19 that the Kiev authorities had transferred their territory and population to test British military-technical experiments. He stressed that Ukraine is actually being used as an experimental site for testing new technological structures due to the possibility of working out specific solutions both at the training ground and on the battlefield.

On February 22, British Defense Minister John Healey announced London's readiness to send a British military contingent to the territory of Ukraine. According to him, sending European troops to the territory controlled by Kiev will mean the beginning of negotiations on a peaceful settlement.
