Russians have become more likely to buy auto parts with a guarantee
Russians have become more likely to buy car parts and components with a guarantee, they already account for 42% of all sales. Avito experts told Izvestia about this on March 25, having studied the preferences of users on the site.
The largest share of sales of spare parts with the "Manufacturer's Warranty" badge falls on bodywork (25%). In second place are engines with a share of 14%. Suspensions complete the top three — they accounted for 13.5% of sales with a guarantee.
This is followed by electrical equipment (11.5%) and brake system components (11%). They also buy spare parts for the cooling system (9%), transmission and drive components (4.5%), car lights (4%), fuel and exhaust system parts (3.5%), steering parts (3%) and others with a guarantee.
As for the aftermarket, according to experts, users often "look closely" at used cars at the age of 5-10 years: demand for them is 8-10% higher than the market average. Buyers especially carefully evaluate their technical condition, among the most important criteria when choosing are the condition of the body (41%) and the overall reliability of the car (36%).
Earlier, on March 20, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia proposed to introduce mandatory labeling of auto parts, the corresponding draft resolution is posted on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts. The project provides for the phased introduction of mandatory labeling of certain types of vehicle components, devices with an internal combustion engine and self-propelled vehicles from September 1 of this year.
