The Russian army liberated the settlement of Nikiforovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As a result of active and decisive actions, units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Nikiforovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the statement said.

The ministry clarified that in this area, the Ukrainian militants lost 10 vehicles, three armored combat vehicles, eight field artillery guns, three ammunition depots, as well as up to 200 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
