The updated Geely Monjaro in the basic version went on sale in Russia

Sales of the updated Geely Monjaro crossover in the basic configuration of the 2026 model year have begun in Russia. The price of the model in the initial "Luxury" version starts from 4.6 million rubles. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on March 25.

Now the Geely Monjaro's basic equipment list includes 19-inch wheels in an updated design, three-zone climate control, mechanical adjustment of the back of the rear sofa, a driver's seat with ventilation, an audio system with eight speakers, as well as a set of driver assistance systems (ADAS). Among other things, the technologies responsible for safety are represented by a frontal collision prevention and warning system, a lane-keeping system, and a road sign recognition system.

The model has fully LED optics and a panoramic roof with an electric lock, the interior is finished in black eco-leather and suede, there is atmospheric interior lighting, the suede ceiling upholstery is made in dark colors. The driver's seat, equipped with memory settings, has electrical adjustment in eight directions and electrical adjustment of the lumbar support in four. The front passenger seat has an electric adjustment and a horizontal folding function. The basic Monjaro also received adaptive cruise control, an all-round viewing system, wireless charging for a smartphone, a three-screen media system, a winter package, and more.

Regardless of the configuration, the Geely Monjaro is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 238 hp, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter and an all-wheel drive system. In the "Luxury" configuration, the crossover has seven modes of operation of the driving electronics.

The flagship version of the updated Monjaro entered the Russian market in December last year.

The day before, GAC announced that the new GAC Aion V electric crossover will cost from 4 million rubles in Russia, including special offers, and will go on sale on April 2. The crossover has an electric motor in the front with a capacity of 204 hp (210 Nm), acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 7.9 seconds.
