The US Army has raised the age threshold for recruits to 42 years
The US Army will recruit recruits to the ground forces under the age of 42, and the recruitment process for candidates with a criminal record has also been simplified. The relevant document attests to this on March 25.
"The maximum age for enlistment (in the army. — Ed.) is 42 years old. At the time of enrollment, the candidate should not be 42 years old," the document says, the contents of which are cited by RIA Novosti.
It clarifies that for persons with one criminal record or an effective juvenile court decision for possession of marijuana or drug paraphernalia, admission to ministry is no longer required.
As specified in the document, these innovations are part of the reform of the US Department of War to overcome the recruitment crisis in 2022-2023.
On February 3, the Pentagon website reported that representatives of the ministry intend to create a stock of several hundred thousand units of kamikaze drones by next year. The statement clarified that the aim of the reform is also the rapid creation of single-use attack drones on a large scale as part of the strengthening.
