- The Ministry of Education announced the discussion of banning phones for young children
Representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation are discussing the possible introduction of a ban on the use of gadgets by children under a certain age. This was announced on Monday, March 23, by the head of witchcraft Sergey Kravtsov.
"We need a certain age from which a child can already use a mobile phone," he said in an interview with reporters from the Empathy Manuchi online project on Rutube.
According to the minister, the situation in which a three-year-old child is given a phone in his hands so that he does not distract his parents is abnormal. Such an approach, he stressed, adversely affects the psychological development of a minor.
Kravtsov added that this restriction has not yet been formalized in writing, as the issue is still complex. Currently, the law only prohibits the use of phones in school lessons.
On February 24, Kravtsov spoke about the plans of the Ministry of Education to compile a list of permitted games and toys intended for kindergarten students. According to him, the list will include things that correspond to the traditional values of the Russian people and contribute to the development of the child.
On February 23, the Minister of Education announced the imminent appearance of methodological recommendations for parents on the education of preschoolers. According to him, all materials will be posted on a single digital resource, access to which will be provided to educators.
