A prisoner from the Ukrainian Armed Forces called on his colleagues to surrender to the Russian Army

On March 24, Alexander Semirenko, a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who was captured by fighters of the North group of forces, appealed to his colleagues to lay down their weapons.

"To save your life, it's easier to give up. I am in Russian captivity, everything is fine with me, they treat me normally, they cook, we live in warmth and kindness," he said.

The Russian Ministry of Defense added that against the background of the colossal losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the line of contact, Kiev continues to carry out harsh forced mobilization.

The ministry noted that the Ukrainian leadership actually uses its soldiers as expendable material.
