A sanctioned French journalist spoke about the eviction of his family
On March 24, French journalist Andrian Boke, who was sanctioned by the European Union (EU), spoke about the eviction of his family from their home due to a law introduced by French President Emmanuel Macron.
"I am under sanctions with everything that follows from this. But there is me, and there is my family. In a few days, my parents won't be at home. Macron achieved a change in French laws two years ago: he created special laws on sanctions," the journalist told RIA Novosti.
Boke told about the seizure of real estate and bank accounts of his parents, who are retired. According to him, this is due to the documents in which the journalist is listed as the heir.
On March 16, the European Union expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list to include French and British journalists Adrian Boke and Graham Phillips.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 18 that Bokeh was not in danger in Russia. It was clarified that Boke had previously asked the Russian government for help in protecting his family.
