The expert announced the possible inclusion of the word "hobbyhoring" in the dictionary of the Russian language.

The word "hobbyhousing" can be entered into one of the dictionaries of the Russian language as the official language, provided that the popularity of this sport will increase. This was announced on March 24 by Natalia Kozlovskaya, an expert at the Ministry of Education of Russia, Head of the Russian Language Department at the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University.

"The word "hobbyhorsing" can enter the dictionary if this fun sport becomes more popular and if representatives of the Hobbyhorsing Federation (and it is officially registered in Russia) contact the compilers with an appropriate request," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is specified that this term may be added to the dictionary of foreign words in the future. Kozlovskaya explained that the current edition has already been published and does not contain this word yet, however, the heads of the state dictionaries project allow them to be regularly updated and new words added.

Comparative linguist Alyona Popova told Izvestia on February 25 that the appearance and spread of the term "abuser" reflects a social demand. Today, the word "abuser" is most often used in the context of psychology and the discussion of personal boundaries, toxic relationships between partners, parents and children, as well as in work and friendships.
