The Islamic Republic of Iran will not stop fighting until sanctions are lifted and compensation is paid. This was announced on March 24 by Mohsen Rezai, military adviser to the supreme leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei.

"The war will continue until all compensations are paid to Iran and all economic sanctions are lifted from it," the Fars news agency quoted the adviser as saying on the Telegram channel.

Rezai added that Tehran also demands international guarantees of Washington's non-interference in the internal affairs of the state. He stressed that this is a decision of the people, the supreme leader and the armed forces of the country.

US President Donald Trump announced on March 23 that the US military would temporarily suspend strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure amid talks between Washington and Tehran. He also said that the United States and Iran had held two days of fruitful negotiations to resolve the conflict.

On the same day, the Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly denied the information about the alleged negotiations. According to the ministry, peace initiatives come only from the countries of the Middle East, and the statements of the American leader are an attempt to "buy time" for a military operation.

The Ynet portal, citing an Israeli official, reported on March 23 that the United States plans to announce the end of the military operation against Iran on April 9. It is specified that this will allow the American leader to visit Israel on Independence Day to receive the award.
