- The activities of businessman Galitsky and his corporation have been recognized as extremist
The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and banned the activities of investor Alexander Galitsky and his Almaz Capital Partners corporation in Russia, recognizing it as extremist. This was reported on March 23 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
The decision is subject to immediate execution. All funds in Galitsky's bank accounts and real estate objects registered with him are converted into state income.
We are talking about residential and two non-residential buildings, as well as a plot of land in the Istra district of the Moscow region, an apartment in the Presnensky district of the capital and several parking spaces. Accounts for 7 billion rubles have also been turned into state revenue, with total assets amounting to 8 billion rubles.
The businessman left the courtroom without waiting for the judge's decision. Before that, he stated that he needed medical attention.
On March 11, the Prosecutor General's Office demanded that Galitsky and his Almaz Capital Partners corporation be banned as extremist activities in the Russian Federation. Also in the statement of claim, the Prosecutor General's Office demands that all funds in Galitsky's bank accounts and real estate properties registered with him be converted into state income.
In October 2025, Galitsky's property worth 435 million rubles was seized by the Presnensky Court of Moscow. The list of seized property includes several real estate objects, including an apartment on Patriarch's Ponds, a cottage in the village of Millennium Park on Novorizhskoye Highway, an apartment in the Turgenev clubhouse, as well as three parking spaces for a car.
