A universal modular hall will be built at the Mashinostroitel Stadium in Pskov. The construction is scheduled to be completed in 2027. The preliminary cost of the facility is 135 million rubles.

According to Olga Sidorova, acting Regional Minister of Sports, quoted by the Pskov News Service, the agency is preparing an application to the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation for funding. It is planned that the hall will be equipped at the expense of federal funds. The foundation will be prepared at the expense of the regional and local budgets.

The universal modular hall will host classes in game sports, including mini-football, volleyball and handball. This complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.

The issue of creating a second similar facility in other municipalities of the region in 2028 is currently being considered.

Earlier, Acting Minister of Education Tatyana Loznitskaya said that 52 schools in the Pskov Region have been overhauled over the past three years as part of national projects. According to her, in 2026 it is planned to allocate funds for the repair of four more educational institutions. In 2027, 12 objects are already on the list.
