The death toll in an apartment fire in the center of Moscow has increased to four people. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office.

A fire in an apartment building on Nikoloyamskaya Street in Moscow was reported earlier that day. Three people were killed in the incident. According to eyewitnesses, the smoke was seen around four in the morning. The Investigative Committee (IC) has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two or more persons").
