"To begin with, I recommend defining a single concept, the idea of decorating the entire space, in order not only to transform the interior, but also to emphasize the excellent taste. Choose a color palette that will be reflected not only in the decor, but also in the exquisite treats. Preference should be given to fresh natural shades and pastel tones — mint, cream, pale blue, peach. They can either prevail in the decor or be accents on a background of white or beige," the expert advises.

She also recommends using decorative items made of natural materials: wood, natural fabrics for home textiles and serving, tableware and ceramic accents. This will create a sense of naturalness and will be a reference to the traditions of the ancestors.

For the table, it is better to choose a plain tablecloth or paths that will become textural accents for dishes. Preference should be given to dishes without unnecessary decorative elements.

"In the center of the table, you can place taller dishes or a special decorative pedestal for cakes and decorated eggs. You can complement the serving with a vase or a composition with primroses or willow twigs. An interesting solution would be to print or hand—write the menu of a festive meal or sign good wishes to each guest," the designer noted.

Kuznetsova emphasized that modern principles of interior decoration help to emphasize the individuality of the hosts, so festive decorations should be approached with a soul and through decoration tell guests about their tastes, interests and lifestyle.
