Podguzova spoke about the work of the Committee on Financial Culture and Education

The PSB is systematically working to improve the level of financial literacy of the population, and one of the logical steps along this path was the establishment of the Committee of the Association of Banks of Russia on financial culture and education. This was stated by Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President and Director of External Relations at the PSB, who held the first meeting of the committee last week.

"Among its main tasks is to create an inclusive financial environment, develop proposals for the development of investment literacy and entrepreneurial potential, promote household financial security and support financial education at all stages of human life. Most importantly, the committee will also be engaged in the examination of draft laws, monitoring trends, studying international experience, as well as methodological assistance to members of the Association of Banks of Russia," said Podguzova.

The committee's work plan and topics for meetings in 2026 were discussed at the meeting. Among the priorities are the development of IPO culture and ensuring the protection of investors' rights, financial literacy of military personnel and youth. In this regard, Podguzova, in particular, suggested creating a channel on the Rutube platform dedicated to financial culture. She also stressed that the PSB is actively developing relevant initiatives, including the Just Capital Forum, the Women's Leadership in Investment project, and the Sodruzhestvo educational platform.
