Sobyanin spoke about the innovations of Moscow construction companies

In Moscow, innovations developed by Moscow companies are actively used in the construction sector, which make it possible to continue implementing projects or better control their cost. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

In his personal blog, the mayor wrote that the "colossal volume of construction" requires the introduction of new technologies, "without which many projects will simply "stand up" or turn out to be excessively expensive."

According to the mayor, many innovations are being developed in the capital, including by participants of the Moscow Innovation Cluster and graduates of the Academy of Innovators and Innovator of Moscow programs.

For example, the company "Virsin Innovations" has created a remote control system for construction cranes. Thanks to it, the crane operator does not need to waste time on lifting and lowering, and at the same time he can control several cranes at once. The company notes that the system also reduces the number of potentially dangerous situations by 70%. The technology is being implemented during the construction of a new building of the N. V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.

RusAps, a member of the Moscow Innovation Cluster, has developed a set of standard elements for the mass production of building structures, including floor slabs, wall panels, and elements of stairway and elevator assemblies. This approach makes it possible to reduce the construction time of buildings up to 12 floors high, and welding and concrete mixtures can be dispensed with during installation.

RYEGRASS has created a mobile 3D scanner that helps automate the inspection of construction progress. Thanks to SLAM technology and AI, he "sees" the surrounding space and creates a digital copy of a building or structure. According to Sobyanin, the device compares the received model with the design data, calculates the amount of work and prepares a report. "As a result, the preparation of documents is 5-10 times faster, and errors due to the "human factor" become much less, which is especially important during the construction of complex facilities," the mayor emphasized.
