In Moscow this week, the air will warm up to +9...+14 degrees in the afternoon. This weather, with variable clouds and no precipitation, will continue until the end of the working week and is likely to last until Saturday. This was stated to Izvestia on March 23 by Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency.

According to her, precipitation is unlikely at night. In the central regions, the air temperature will be about +2... +3 degrees, in places it will range from -1 to +1 degrees. In some areas of the city, it may drop to -3 degrees, and in the region — to -3...-4 degrees.

"At night, there may be ice in places when the temperature is negative. The previously melted snow will turn into puddles, and then into ice," the forecaster said.

In general, as Pozdnyakova noted, the weather pattern will remain stable. The situation will be determined by the area of high atmospheric pressure, which will provide a temperature background 4-5 degrees above the climatic norm and comfortable enough conditions for this time of year.

Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service's crisis Management Department, said on March 20 that stable warm weather, which had persisted in the capital region for the third week in a row under the influence of an anticyclone, would last until the end of the month.
