Russians can undergo seven screenings to identify the most common types of cancer as part of a medical examination. This was announced on March 23 by Andrey Kaprin, Chief Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Director General of the National Research Medical Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"In addition to basic examinations, the medical examination program includes seven screening studies specifically aimed at detecting the most common types of cancer. There is no such experience yet in any country in the world, and moreover, all these examinations are available to Russians for free at the district polyclinic," he told RIA Novosti.
