The expert gave advice on helping children before passing the Unified State Exam
To support children before passing the Unified State Exam, it is important to give them your love and remind them that the results of the Unified State Exam do not affect the attitude towards them in the family. This was stated on March 22 by Inga Gorbunova, an expert of the Ministry of Education, a teacher-psychologist from St. Petersburg, the author of the educational project "Cool Parent".
"Remind children that success on the Unified State Exam is important, but its results are not a determining factor of happiness and well-being. It is important for parents to show unconditional love, regardless of the result," she said in an interview with TASS.
The expert recommended that parents take care of the child's physical condition — to remind them about proper nutrition and proper sleep. It is also important to think about passing exams more often.
The educational psychologist also recommended teaching the student non-evaluative thinking and correct tactics when completing exam assignments — from simple to complex.
The head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, announced on March 4 that almost 750,000 people will take the Unified State Exam (USE) in Russia this year. According to him, the main period of the Unified State Exam-2026 will be held from June 1 to July 7. Kravtsov stressed that preparations for the exams are proceeding normally, according to plan, and safety and objectivity remain key priorities.
