Russia is counting on the easing of the US visa regime

The Russian Federation expects to simplify the visa regime with the United States of America (USA) on the eve of the World Cup. This was announced on March 21 by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"We hope that the American authorities will nevertheless cancel the existing discriminatory visa requirements for Russian citizens, including in the context of the upcoming FIFA World Cup this summer, most of the matches of which will be held in the United States," the department's Telegram channel says.
