Starting in 2026, maternity capital can be used to repay housing loans issued by microcredit companies that are wholly owned by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Nikita Chaplin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, told <url> on March 21.

"Families planning to improve their living conditions using maternity capital have received an additional opportunity. Starting in 2026, the certificate's funds are allowed to be used to repay housing loans issued by microcredit companies that are wholly owned by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation," Chaplin shared.
